Op Hollandia is een Asteroid Deflection Zone geïnstalleerd om nieuwe corporations op Mars te helpen met opstarten alvorens zij hun operaties uitbreiden naar de meer risicovolle delen van de planeet. Binnen de Asteroid Deflection Zone (geel gemarkeerd) zijn spelers beschermd tegen het vernietigen van planten. Hieronder volgt een toelichting op enkele specifieke regels voor het bord.
MILESTONES
Terraformer: Having a terraform rating of at least 30.
Tycoon: Having 8 project cards in play. Project cards are green and blue cards.
Developer: Having 5 city and energy tags combined.
Emperor: Having 5 connected tiles. They may connect in any shape, as long as they are connected.
Tactician: Having 5 cards with requirements in play.
AWARDS
Tropicalist: Having the most tiles in the middle 3 rows around the equator.
Thermalist: Having the most heat resource cubes.
Metallurgist: Having the most production of steel and titanium combined.
Naturalist: Having the most animal, plant and microbe tags in play.
Eventist: Having played the most events.

What is the yellow area on the map?
The yellow area indicates the Asteroid Deflection Zone. You are protected from plant destruction as long as you have tiles in the Asteroid Deflection Zone only.
Thematically the Asteroid Deflection Zone has been established to support new corporations that just arrived on Mars. They can trial their first greeneries in the safe zone before expanding to more hostile environments on the planet.
Are my plants protected by the Asteroid Deflection Zone if I have no tiles on Mars at all?
No. Your plants are protected when you have tiles in the Asteroid Deflection Zone only.
Are my plant production, animals and microbes also protected in the Asteroid Deflection Zone?
No. Only your plants are protected.
What if I start in the Asteroid Deflection Zone but move out of it?
As soon as you place a tile outside of the Asteroid Deflection Zone your plants are not protected anymore by the Asteroid Deflection Zone. Tiles like Ganymede Colony or Phobos Space Station also count as having a tile outside of the Zone.
